JD'A Consulting conducts training sessions for non-profit organizations and small businesses to teach participants effective advocacy techniques, both within the political arena and on a personal level. In particular, these sessions focus on practical skills that enable participants to more actively engage in and influence the public policy process. Advocacy Training can be conducted in the workplace, in schools or non-profit organizations and in other community-based venues.

The art of lawmaking – and lobbying -- can be intimidating for those not familiar with the legislative process. JD'A Consulting offers workshops that demystify the political process in Augusta so that participants, as grassroots lobbyists, can master the skills of civic engagement and effectively advocate for their interests. Workshops include information on how a bill becomes a law, tours of legislative venues, legislative role playing, meetings with lawmakers, and hands-on lobbying experience.
